Booking Studiworkers always takes place online via the platform.
When booking, you select how many Studiworkers you need, when, for how long, and for what purpose.
In the job description, you can briefly describe what your job entails and how it should be carried out.
After booking, you’ll find your job in your account.
You’ll see all available Studiworkers who have applied for your job.
Usually, you’ll receive the first applications shortly after booking.
If you’ve chosen the option for Studiwork to assign the Studiworkers, you’ll find them in the job in your account after they’ve been assigned.
Payment is made after the job is completed.
You can then rate your Studiworkers.
Studiwork can be used in all cities across Germany and Austria. We have a large network of students and graduates, so you can book any location.
For hard-to-reach locations and very small towns, we recommend increasing the hourly wage slightly or offering a travel allowance. This can easily be noted in the job description during booking.
For jobs at a specific address, such as moving assignments, you should always provide a complete address with house number (if available).
For jobs within a general area, such as mail distribution, it’s best to enter a central street within that area. You can specify the area in the “Additional Information” field.
If your job involves multiple locations, please create one booking per location so that Studiworkers from the nearby area can be assigned.
Yes, you can request a driver with a vehicle. When booking, please clearly state in the job description that a vehicle is required and specify what kind (e.g. car, van).
Keep in mind that not all Studiworkers have access to a vehicle, so offering a higher hourly rate or a travel allowance may increase your chances of finding someone suitable.
You can specify exactly what needs to be done when placing your booking, with no limitations. The goal of the Studiwork platform is to provide a qualified person nearby for almost any task you can’t handle yourself.
Almost anything is possible — just tell us exactly what it’s about. We will then select the best Studiworker for your needs, or you can choose one yourself from the applications you receive.
You can contact Studiworkers via our chat system within your account in the relevant job. If a Studiworker has provided additional contact options, these will also be shown to you.
You can contact them individually or all together in one chat. Additional contact details can be shared through the chat if needed.
This is generally not possible. However, if there is an important reason, please send us an email explaining the reason and include the job number. We will then re-establish contact and let you know how to proceed.
Changes to an existing job can be made in two ways. Some details can be edited directly by you in your account. Studiworkers will automatically be notified of any changes and must confirm them again.
For jobs where you select the Studiworker yourself, changes must be discussed directly with the already chosen Studiworker.
Studiwork charges a cancellation fee to protect you and ensure planning reliability for our Studiworkers.
This helps ensure that only serious and legitimate job offers are posted on Studiwork. As a result, you’ll attract top Studiworkers from every field, as they can trust the reliability of your job offer.
To avoid unnecessary fees, we only charge cancellation fees if the selected Studiworkers have already confirmed the job and the cancellation cannot be avoided through a free rescheduling, for example.
For jobs in the Studiworker category where Studiwork selects the personnel, you can reject individual Studiworkers or cancel the entire job at any time. If a cancellation fee applies, it will be shown to you before finalizing the cancellation.
If you select your Studiworkers yourself, you can cancel your job free of charge only until a selected Studiworker has confirmed. After that, you can cancel confirmed Studiworkers individually or cancel the entire job. Any applicable cancellation fees will be displayed accordingly.
Job postings cannot be canceled after they have been published.
In all cases, please check whether modifying the job might be a better alternative to canceling it.
If you selected your Studiworkers yourself and one of them is not responding, you won’t be charged any cancellation fees. Just contact us and let us know which Studiworker is affected. We will remove them from the job so you can choose a new one.
Studiwork costs as much as you consider a fair wage for your task.
When booking, you can specify your desired hourly wage.
A service fee is added to the hourly wage, which is shown to you in detail using a cost calculator during the booking process.
Studiwork offers many of the most common and popular payment methods.
These options are continuously being expanded.
As a new customer, you can pay your first invoice using one of the available payment methods.
If you use Studiwork regularly, you can save your preferred method to make future payments even more convenient.
Studiwork does not store or have access to any payment data itself.
Please note: If you want to use Google Pay or Apple Pay, make sure to book from a compatible device and browser. Only then will these options be available.
If you received an incorrect invoice, for example due to incorrect working hours, please use the chat function within the relevant job in your account to contact the Studiworker and request a correction.
If this is unsuccessful, contact our support team and provide the job number and the name of the Studiworker involved. You can also use the complaint option directly within the job.
Yes, you can give a tip directly when paying with Studipay. You can choose from suggested amounts based on how satisfied you were with the Studiworker’s work.
Payment conditions vary depending on the type of job.
For jobs in the Studiworker category, Studiworkers and service fees are paid directly after the job. You must add a payment method before the job starts. Many common payment options are available.
You can choose to pay your Studiworkers in cash or via Studipay.
Studipay is the platform’s own payment method and works with the payment method you’ve saved.
Please note that when paying with Studipay, you must not pay your Studiworkers in cash under any circumstances, as this may result in double charges.
After the job, the Studiworker will create an invoice via the platform. Once you’ve paid, the invoice will be immediately available in your account under the respective job. You pay your Studiworkers directly in your account within the job.
The Studiworker will be notified as soon as you’ve completed the payment. With this method, you pay both the wage and the service fee together. You will also receive an invoice that includes both.
The Studiworker should issue the invoice on-site, or at the latest within 3 days after the job.
If you choose to pay in cash, only the wage is paid directly to the Studiworker in cash. The service fees will be collected after the job. These fees must not be paid to the Studiworker. Any fees paid to the Studiworker cannot be refunded.
If you choose the Studipay option when booking, you will receive a complete invoice after the job that includes both the wage and the platform fees, issued by each Studiworker. This ensures proper and complete cost documentation, especially for business clients.
If you choose to pay in cash, you will receive an invoice from Studiwork for the platform fees. You can request a separate invoice or receipt from the Studiworker. In this case, the platform does not provide an invoice for the wage.
If you receive an invoice from a Studiworker who didn’t work for you, please use the “not appeared” option in your account within the relevant job under the respective Studiworker. Studiwork will receive your report and take care of canceling the incorrect invoice.
In general, all times, dates, and time periods are possible. You can add one or more dates to your job and specify the exact time for each.
For certain tasks, you can create jobs with a deadline instead of fixed times. This means you only define when the job should be completed—without setting an exact time. This option is especially ideal for digital tasks.
We recommend creating separate jobs for individual dates that are more than a few days apart.
Thanks to the large, nationwide pool of personnel, suitable Studiworkers can be found for any date.
When selecting a date, you don’t need to consider whether it’s a weekday, weekend, or public holiday. Our Studiworkers are available 365 days a year and can be booked any day.
Hourly wages and service fees do not change—even if the job takes place on a public holiday.
If you’re in a hurry, you can find Studiworkers on Studiwork within just a few hours.
For urgent needs, we strongly recommend selecting Studiworkers yourself rather than using the automatic assignment option.
If there’s no time pressure, we suggest booking 2–5 days in advance for simple tasks.
For important events, you should book as early as possible—there’s no limit here.
Sometimes it’s not possible to determine a fixed date at the time of booking—that’s no problem. You can reschedule your job at any time free of charge.
Simply book the most likely date and adjust your job later as early as possible.
If Studiwork selects the personnel for you, we assign Studiworkers whose profiles match your requirements, who have received positive reviews from previous clients, proven their skills in similar jobs, and submitted all necessary documents.
If you make the selection yourself, all of these criteria are presented in a detailed profile—allowing you to always make the best choice.
Studiworkers are not employed by us and therefore work on a self-employed basis.
They are responsible for having their own liability insurance to cover any potential damages.
This means Studiworkers are fully personally liable for any damages that occur during the job.
Depending on the type of job you book, you can specify in your booking what is especially important to you or what is absolutely required for the task.
This can include tools, licenses, skills, or qualifications.
After rating Studiworkers at the end of a job, you have the option to save them. This gives you the advantage of seeing and booking Studiworkers you were satisfied with right away when posting a new job.
If you come across a Studiworker you like but don’t book immediately, you can also save them for later.
On the Studiwork platform, both private individuals and businesses can find students and graduates for all kinds of tasks.
If you choose to have Studiwork select the personnel, we match your job with the best Studiworkers based on past reviews and a skills-profile comparison.
If you prefer to choose Studiworkers yourself, you’ll see a detailed profile for each applicant to help you make an informed decision.
Studiwork verifies every user through various checks and submitted documents.
No, Studiworkers do not need to be registered. All Studiworkers work independently and on their own account. As a client, you are a contractor—not an employer. Hiring Studiworkers is the same as hiring any other company.
If you chose the option for Studiwork to assign the personnel, we are automatically notified when a Studiworker cancels and will promptly arrange a replacement.
If you selected your Studiworkers yourself, you’ll need to manually activate a new Studiworker in case of a cancellation.
You will not be charged for the cancelled Studiworker!
It’s important to consider the type of booking:
If Studiwork is assigning the personnel, you can request a replacement. Just contact us and provide your job number along with the name of the affected Studiworker.
If you used the self-selection option, you can remove Studiworkers who don’t confirm quickly enough and choose others instead.
To speed up the process of getting the required number of Studiworkers, you can set a job limit. This allows you to select more Studiworkers than needed. Only as many can confirm as the limit allows—meaning the fastest applicants get the job.
